Occupational Therapy is a discipline that aims to promote health by enabling people to perform meaningful and purposeful activities. Our occupational therapists work with patients who suffer from mentally, physically, developmentally, and/or emotionally disabling conditions by utilizing advanced treatments that develop, recover, or maintain patient's activities of daily living. Our therapist helps clients not only to improve their basic motor functions and reasoning abilities, but also to compensate for permanent loss of function. Our goal is to help patients have independent, productive, and satisfying lives.
Our occupational therapy evaluation also includes a comprehensive evaluation of the client's home and other environments, recommendation for adaptive equipment and training; and education for family members and care givers.
